Yoshi

Mario's little friend Yoshi appeared in 1991 in Super Mario World. Yoshi is a dinosaur with a huge nose and a LONG toung. That's how he gets all the enemies. He can also flutter in midair for a second or so. Yoshi is personally my favorite. He also has his own games like the Yoshi's Island series (gameboy, DS, Gamecube maybe) also Yoshi's Story on Nintendo 64, and Yoshi Touch & Go for DS. Yoshi comes in many different colors. Green is the original. Then other poppular ones are red, blue, yellow, and pink. There are 10 colors total. Also, if Yoshi swollows an enemy, they get trapped in an egg that Yoshi hatches. He then throws the egg at another enemy. In some games you can't do that (Super Mario Galaxy 2)
